Main Theoretical Approaches
An Integrative therapy approach is incorporating a collaborative client-centred methodology. A safe and non-judgemental space will be provided to reflect on life’s experiences and challenges. With the belief that every individual is innately capable of developing their true potential, client-centred therapy works to encourage a better understanding of any difficulties that may be preventing this development.
Adrienne works from a Humanistic, Holistic perspective drawing on different therapeutic models including Psychodynamic, Choice theory, Reality therapy and CBT. An area of interest is helping clients to recognise and understand their emotions, nurturing their psychological strength and promoting emotional regulation. Creating a tailored therapeutic approach that addresses the needs and circumstances of each individual client are met.
Specific experience working in the areas of anxiety, depression, personal development, stress, bereavement/loss, work issues, work/life balance, relationship difficulties, self-care, self-esteem, suicide ideation, and self-harm.
