Diane is a qualified psychotherapist and psychology graduate, who has been working in Marino Psychotherapy for almost four years. She also maintains a private practice in Blackrock, Co Louth. She works both one-to-one and online (via Zoom) with clients who, for whatever reason, prefer not to attend therapy in person.

Main Theoretical Approach

Having trained as an integrative therapist, Diane tailors her approach to the client and their concerns, drawing on a number of theoretical approaches. She uses empathy and curiosity to encourage clients to explore the issues and dilemmas they bring, and move towards an understanding and/or solution that helps.

Diane has expertise and experience in helping mid-life women, particularly around concerns such as menopause transition. She is also enthusiastic about couples therapy, and relationships in general, offering a non-judgemental and affirming space in which to explore potentially problematic aspects of relationships – communication, sexuality, children, family-of-origin, neuro-diversity, life events etc.
